    Our Wedding Day

Well, as you can see, we got married a couple of weeks ago. It was a beautiful day on Leo Carillo beach in Malibu. The ocean was so blue and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. The ceremony was beautiful. I think just about everyone cried. We spent the weekend out in Agoura Hills and had a great time hanging out and having fun. On Saturday Ron and I drove out to meet my parents(dad and step mom), maid of honor, Becky and her mom Sandy at the hotel. We went for dinner at Chili's and it was soooo good! We were happy to finally be relaxing after the adventures of trying to get to the hotel with all our stuff. Becky had decided she would transport our wedding cake to the restaurant where we would be having our reception so that we wouldn't have to worry about it the next day. Her car broke down on the 101 freeway in 110 degree weather with my cake in the back! Needless to say it melted. When I heard I just figured, oh well, we don't need a cake to get married. Luckily though, the baker is a very good friend to Becky and he was kind enough to make me a new cake that evening. It was even prettier than the first one! I couldn't believe it. Ron and I had better luck on our way out there than they did. Getting everything we would need into the car was fun. After dinner we were ready for bed. The next morning we girls all got ready together in Becky's hotel room. My sister Chai did makeup for everyone and they all looked beautiful in their dresses. The men were so handsome in there tux's. I couldn't believe how great they all looked. We clean up well! At one point Ron came in to tell me that my grandmothers car had burned to the ground on the 210 freeway. At first I thought he was kidding but no, he was serious. They were about 20 minutes from home and the car overheated. My mother had been driving and couldn't get the hood open to even try to use a fire extinguisher on it. It was too hot. So it burned down to the ground and was nothing but a frame when it was al over. I was just thinking why are these things happening to all of the people around me. It was crazy. My mom managed to make it to the beach in time for the ceremony. All of our guests and bridal party had hit traffic and the ceremony went off later than planned. The funny thing was that even though every one was late, we all got to the beach at the same time. So it was really just in Gods timing and not ours. The ceremony went off beautifully. I was so happy with it. After all that I couldn't have asked for more. There was even one part in the ceremony that went off better because we forgot to bring the vows I had typed out on cards for us. When that point in the ceremony came and we realized that we didn't have our vows to read we just said what was in our hearts at the moment. It was much more beautiful than if we had read them. I don't think anyone noticed the change either. Dinner was lovely. I think a great time was had by all. I don't have the professional photos back yet but I've posted a few that a family member took. I'll post the new ones as soon as I get them.  The next morning we were very happy that the weding had gone so beautifuly.  We packed up and loaded the car in anticipation of going home and resting before work the next day.  About 20 minutes from the hotel our car started to over heat.  We pulled over and checked the water.  There wasn't much we could do.  We tried to make our way home and about a mile later the car just over heated and wouldn't run.  After a little figuring out what to do, we finaly got a tow truck out and had the car towed home.  It was a 2 hour tow ride with a stinky tow truck driver.  Fun!  I guess we jinxed ourselves when we said that there was nothing else that could go wrong with our wedding that morning.  Some evil force out there in the world said, "oh yeah? Here's a blown head gasket for you on your way home."  We're still trying to recover.  We're so happy to be married though!  I have to say that it sort of felt like a test to so how dedicted we were to making sure that our wedding happened.  Now that it's all over we can relax.  I am absolutely dying to see the pictures that my friend Brandi did for me.  She does really great work.

My lil' man is so damn smart!

I swear, Noah amazes me every day. Nothing gets by this guy. I really like these pictures of him helping Ron do the brakes on the car not only because they're super cute but also because they show just how smart this little guy really is. If you look at what he's doing in each picture you can see that he's got some little pliers and he is trying to figure out how to make them fit on the nut on his scooter's wheel so that he can loosen it up just like he saw his Dad do to the car. He spent a few minutes figuring how to tighten the pliers and then he went back and forth tightening them, seeing if they fit, tightening them, seeing if they fit until they did fit. Then he worked on they tire. I was trying soooo hard not to laugh beacuase I really wanted to watch him accomplish his little task. And boy let me tell you, it was a challenge but he just stuck his little tounge out the side of his mouth just like my Grandpa used to do whe he was concentrating and worked it all out in his little mind. He's a genius.

    Tide pools.

Took my family to Cabrillo beach this weekend.  We had a little adventure in the tide pools there.  We saw some really neat sea creatures.  Anemones, star fish as big as my hand, lion fish, sea urchins. But my favorite was a giant sea slug that I found.  It was huge.  As long as my hand and big and fat!  The kids thought it was the coolest thing ever.  We played in the sand for a while and the weather was just a little bit cool.  It was great.

    Valentines Day Weekend

    Image hosting by Photobucket
We had a really great Valentines Day weekend.  Venice is always fun and the weather is great.  All the freaks were out and about as usual.  The kids had a really good time.  We spent Monday BBQing at the park.  We found these really awesome 3D kites at Costco.  There wasn't too much wind though so we spent some time trying to get them up in the air.  They looked cool once they were up there though.  Hope you all had a lovely Valentines Day!

You Know You're From Da I.E. When....

This was written by one of the "KIDS" here in Da I.E.

This isn't a reflection of my own life (well, not anymore. I'm old now.  I can definately relate to a lot of it like the guarding your beer @ parties part!) It is a pretty accurate reflection of what is going on with the kids out here.  California is like the land of many vices.  You can do and get any thing at a very young age.  I hate offspring but I think they really hit it on the head with their song
    "The Kids Aren't Alright"
If I was a cool enough space head it would be playing for you right now but I still can't figure out how to do that so I suck.
Partying is a way of life here.  Some one or thing to do every night of the week.  Where is the ambition?  These parents need to take a close look at what they're allowing to happen in their childrens lives.  This kind of attitude is probably what led to those boys gang raping that girl out here a couple of years ago.  I know kids who are friends with those kids and were at the same party as them the night of the rape.   You probably won't see any parodies of that in any upcoming "Friday"s
is going to jail for a long time and it doesn't matter how much money his parents throw out there.
While this is definately a very funny portrayal of ghetto life here in the Inland Empire I think it shows that we have a fundamental problem with the way we are raising our children.
Damn, I think I was just having some serious thoughts.  Think it's time for a break...
     *cough!*cough!*

A New Baby, Two Weddings & A Funeral

My sister, Chantelle had her second baby 5 days ago.  Madison Marie was born on July 26, 2005 at 12:51 in the morning, weighing in at 7.9 lbs and 19.25 inches long.  The birth went well and both baby and mom are fine. She's gorgeous!  She's got a head FULL of dark hair and has beautiful brown eyes.  She's so sweet!  I can't even remember Noah and Rain being that small.  It's so fun having a tiny baby around again.

    pictures

You know you had a good time at the wedding you just went to when you wake up the next morning and you're not really sure on all of the details.  I actually went to two weddings this month and Ron and I are starting to feel like "the wedding crashers."  Both were so lovely.  My girlfriends Kristell and Deanna both looked like princesses in their gowns.  Ron and I really had a good time.  We got to hang out with some good people who we don't really get the opportunity to hang out with very often.  It was great to see my work friends not in their Rainforest attire.  We all looked really awesome, if I may say so myself.  We danced until the D.J. pretty much just said "goodnight!" and he went hoime.  Gary, if you're reading this, I was really digging it when you were doing the "sprinkler."  Haven't seen that one for a long time.(Congrats on your new baby boy!)

As for the funeral, well, let's just say it was a long time comin'.  The old thing really was suffering.  Does that sound cruel?  Well,it's a goodthing it was only a cat.  My grandmother had her for like 17 years so you can just imagine.  The kids called her the *Crypt Keeper Kitty* and if you've ever seen that show you can imagine how decrepit she was.  We held services for her here at home where we buried her in the back yard along side my cat Henry VIII and my sister's toy terrior Muffin.  We said a little prayer for Nina, so that her kitty spirit will have a safe journey to the land of milk and catnip.  She will be missed.

     Bow Down
    so here it is, me,
    S.T.R.I.P.P.E.D.

Not as exciting as I'd like it to be...

My current existance: We have an alarm clock but it's never me who decides what time to set it for.  My boyfriend of 7 years has to be up at 4 o'clock in the morning therefore I wake up at 4 o'clock in the morning.  I try to sleep through it but when the light is on right next to your face it's virtually impossible.  Can't complain too much cause I don't have to be awake for a little while longer.  Ron finishes getting ready, gives me a kiss and leaves for work by 5 a.m.  I sigh and hope that Noah , our 22 month old son, doesn't decide that now that Dad is gone it's time to wake up.  Usually he waits till about 6-6:30 and then he starts making noises to let me know he's waking up.  If I'm lucky, which isn't that often,  Noah sleeps till 7-7:30. At which time he tells me, "Eeeaat, mom! Brepist!"  I'm not a breakfast person but Noah really digs some fresh fruit, toast and a cup of juice.  Lately, he's been asking for peanut butter and jelly for breakfast so I just put it on his toast.  Easy!  My daughter is in school right now so I help her get herself ready (she's ten and thinks she can do it on her own.)  She eats a bowl of her favorite cereal and is off to catch a ride with her cousins to school.
If it's a work day I usually try to get some time in with my son before I start getting ready to go.  He likes to paint in his little sesame street painting book together these days.  He really loves the Wiggles too so we might watch some of that together.  He says and does the funniest things right now so I want to get as much of that as possible.  I just heard him cracking up in the shower with his dad right now,  he pee'd on dad's leg.  Noah finds it very amusing.  Ron is less amussed...(he he!)   It's hard to leave him.  Everyday is an adventure with him.
    ~
I usually have to be at work around 11 o'clock in the morning. I'm usually running late cause of all of the little things I get caught up in every morning like laundry and dishes and phone calls from people I don't even want to talk to.  When I get there I serve food all day to the  people of the Inland Empire with the Rainforest Cafe's finest quizine.  (Did I mention that I live in the ghetto? yeah well, I do)  My shift lasts for up to 6 hours which doesn't really seem like a long time but let me just tell you, it takes a lot of mental strength to be a food server.  Lots to do and remeber.  Crazy people in the kitchen screwing up your orders.  I won't even get started on all that.  On top of all that our clientelle is not exactly the types who go out to fine dining all the time.  I get questions like "What's cheap here?" and "How much is water?"  For the majority families are nice and want to have a good time but some people are extemely rude to me as if I wasn't even a person!  I run around like a crazy person busting my @$$ and hope at the end of the day that all of my efforts some how are going to be worth it.  If you've ever been a server and had your whole day's pay rest on other people's knowlegde of what good service is and what percentage they should be tipping you accordingly, you know what I mean.
    ~
After a long day of servitude I happily go home to my little family.  There's Ron,  my boyfriend of about 8 years (33 years old).  Rain my daughter (10 1/2 years (yes she's from a previous relationship)).  And Noah my son ( two in September).  My cousin's Michelle(16) and Briana(12) live with us. Both of their Mom's are flakes. It's a bummer for them but we try to make it as normal as possible for them.  We all live in the home that my grandfather left to my grandfather when he died 8 years ago with my grandmother Ruth. She's &9 and does get around too well.  Then there's me, Rachel 30 in September (I think I feel a wrinkle coming on damn it!).
When he's not glued to his ebox in the evenings Ron sets and grouts tile.  It's hard work, doesn't pay enough but he goes off to work happily every morning!( well, almost everymorning...)  It makes me very happy to see him when he gets home.
I work on weekends and weekdays and Ron works mon thru friday so we don't always get to have time off together.  When one of those weeks comes around where there isn't alot of work to do we really enjoy getting to hang out together.  On the days I don't have to work I usually run errands, clean house, do laundry, pick the kids up school & try to take the kids to the park or something like that.  Now that summer is here we try to spend as much time outside as possible.  On the days we're off together we definately have to go do something fun even if it's just t-ball in the park.
    ~
I usually try to cook something for dinner.  I love to cook but on nights after a long day at work it really feels like a big chore.  Clean up sucks too.  Gotta feed this family though.  I try to save the complicated meals for my days off.  Pizza is good for you isn't it?
After dinner the kids usualy do their own thing.  Rain is busy being a preteen, talking on the phone and trying to figure out what "cool" is.  Noah is usually trying to find ways to torture her while she's on the phone and stuff.  I find it highly amusing which makes Rain even madder.  It's so funny though when he's singing "rain, rain, go away..."  She usually tells him, "you go away!"  I try to tell him to stop but it's hard when I'm laughing. They really love each other a lot when Rain isn't trying to grow up too fast.  When no one else is around she plays with him at his level.  It's cute to watch.
Sadly, my boyfriend is an xbox junkie.  It's almost like he has another girlfriend.  He thinks I'm kidding when I say that but truly, he needs to just let it goooo.  It's only a game right? Right?  I don't know, maybe I don't understand the whole "gaming experience." WHATEVER.  Grow up.   He gets WAY too excited about those things.  I think he was deprived of video games as a child so I can't take that away from him (yet, he he...).
Now that everyone has occupied themselves I usually take the opportunity to take a long hot bath or spend some time wastin' away again in blogarrittaville.  I like to read about you all, it makes me feel like I'm not the only little worker ant out there who has their own independant thoughts and feelings.  I find alot of your words true and inspiring.
After that it's time for a bedtime story for Noah and Rain  takes this in as her time to tell me just about every thought in her head.  It's good cause I need to know what's going on with her. Then Ron and I usualy spend some time listening to a little reggae and talking about the events of the day, our relationships (between us and between our children and us.) He's your typical guy.  I talk and talk and even though he try's, he probably only hears about half of what I say. His mind wanders even though he wants to participate in the conversation...It's funny and I love him anyways.  Cause I know he truly loves me.  Then it's off to bed with a repeat performance the next day.
I've come to the conclusion that love is not what I grew up thinking it would be.  I feel a little wiser for my years but from what I've seen so far I've got a lot to learn. I just pray that the lord covers me and mine with his hand wherever we may be, and we will serve Him.

Now that I've spent all these years loving this man and our children I've really come to the realization of what loving someone else truly is.  I hope to now spend the rest of my years learning how much that love can grow and where it will take us all. I hope the adventure is only just beginning...

    06 July

4th of July ~ 3 days of fun in the sun!!

We had a great 4th of July weekend
     Smiley Fireworks
I had to work on Saturday and Sunday but we still managed to get in one holiday event on each Saturday, Sunday and Monday.  Yeah, we're crazy.  Saturday after work we (Ron, Rain, Nick, Michelle, Noah and I) went to an event at one of the local high schools where we met up with our friends James and Erin and their kids Bayleigh and Wynter.  The event was put on by the church that Erin's mom, Tina, attends.
      Prayer

It was a lot of fun because they had set up like 10 of those huge bounce house things for the kids to play on.
     Bouncy 5
Pony rides, rock climbing, lots of good stuff for the kids to do!  Rain especially loved the velcro wall.  She looked like a huge fly on the wall. It was pretty funny to see her hanging there!
     Fireworks
When it started getting dark we ordered some hamberger's and kettle corn and settled in for our first firework show of the weekend.  The kids were not really sure what to expect so Noah (20 months old) Bayleigh  (3 1/2 years old) and Wynter (1 year old) were all a little shocked by the loud booming of the shells.  Poor little Wynter was pretty much traumatized.  Thank God grama Tina was there to calm her down.  (Go grama!)

It was a great weather and we had a blast.
     Liberty
On Sunday night we spent the evening having dinner with our friends James and Erin, once again.  We had an awesome turkey dinner that Erin cooked for us with her roasterrie.  The turkey turned out pefect.  It was great.  Thanks to my mom Sherri for giving us those two turkeys!  We really enjoyed it!  (say thanks again to your boss for me!)
     Turkey Shoot
After dinner we sat in the back yard with the kids and we had our own firework floor show going on.  The littler kids were not quite so afraid this time.  I guess the shock and awe wore off.  Ron got to play with fire.  That's always a treat...
     Firehair 2
He and James had fun lighting off fireworks for the kids. Erin and I helped a little but mostly we just watched from afar with our Rolling Rocks.

Only two of us burned our selves (a miracle) and I'll be nice and not say which one's of us is dumbass number's one and two!

     Flags
Monday July  4th we got up early (5:30, can you believe I actually got up that early?)  and went down to Huntington Beach to meet up with my best friend Becky and her man Orin.
     Beach
The city of H.B. put on a huge extravaganza there on the pier for the day.  There were all sorts of vendors and things for the kids to do. More bounce houses,  free stuff,  lots of fun every where you looked.
     Copacabana Beach
It was pretty crowded down there and I'm pretty happy that we were able to find Becky in that huge mass of people!  It was a relief to see them in the crowd!  We set up camp on the beach and pretty much just sat back to soak up the sun for the next few hours.   Ron and Orin both decided to take the opportunity to take a nap in the shade.  Becky and I took the opportunity to talk smack about them.
     Tanny
Rain decided that she was going to try boogy boarding and I was surprised that she picked it right up!  It was so cute!  She's a real wild one.  Lots of guts!
Becky was brave enough to get into the super cold water with her.  Thanks for that cause I wasn't about to go in there and freeze my butt off.
     Surfer
Noah was having a really good time playing in the white wash.  Every time a wave came up he would run away from it like crazy!  He was enthralled by the water.  Every time one of the kids would dig a hole he would come over and grab handfuls of dirt to throw right back into the holes.  He found it so funny!  Rain didn't think so of course but he is "the Little brother."  He sings "rain, rain go away" and it drives her crazy!
     Shark
Maybe I'm getting old but I just couldn't bring myself to get into the water to go swimming.  I thought about it! I swear I wanted to!  Once upon a time when I was a kid like Rain you couldn't get me out of the water, only to eat food and it didn't matter how cold it was!  But on this day when I stuck my legs in the surf,  ooooo,  it burned!  I had made the big mistake of shaving that morning!  Every girl knows it's a bad idea.  You don't shave the day of!!  I just didn't have time to do it the evening before as planned. Oh well, it's better than hairy legs, right?
      BBQ
We BBQ'd dinner on the beach and watched the sun head for the horizon.  It was a beautiful day.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  Nice and warm with out being too hot.  In the shade there was actually a cool breeze all day.  We all still managed to get burnt though!
        Sunburn
I always think of Jim Morrison when I'm at the beach during sunset.

     Smiley Fireworks
After a long day on the beach we decided to come home and see a local fire work show here in town. We left the beach at 7:30.  There wasn't much traffic (another miracle) so it didn't take long to get home. We were planning on staying at the beach for a show but the wind picked up and it was pretty much not fun any more.  Why hang out when you're miserable, right?  We just went to another one of the local high school's which puts on reallly great show and had a great time with out freezing   our @$$&$ off.
    Frozen
     Pillow
After all that we pretty much just went to bed.
Every one had a lot of fun.
    Sunburn 2
Every one got burnt but Noah.
(what's up with my crappy sunblock?)
        Camp Fire
Rain was bummed out that we never got to make smores at the beach so last night Ron got out our "fire pit" (an old smoker that we no longer use which we now burn  Fire 3 wood in the back yard in, ghetto, I know) and we ate smores till I felt sick.
At this point I am pretty much just exhausted.  But it was fun gettting this way.  Back to work yesterday, yuck!  Can't wait for next year...

    Where you at?! Roll call

Hey kids!  I'm kinda new to msn spaces & I gotta say, I really dig it.  So many ways that we can express ourselves, & all dat stuff.  But, is it just me, or is there a serious lack of bloggers here in the good ol' U.S. and abroad?  Seems most space fiends are from the great white north (Canada, duh.) I've found a few spaces from as far away as Russia & Japan (I think.)  Couldn't read 'em but they were great to look at.  Awesome pictures!

It's time to represent where you're from people!

ie:   My name is Rachel. Aka- So Cal Rasta Gal. Like the name says, I'm from the Inland Empire or "da I.E."  as it's known here in California and it is HOT here!  But not as hot as my reggae!

    Now,  where you at?!

    Ron's Birthday

Ron turned 33 on Saturday this week!  He's sooo old!  I still love him though.   Burning Heart  It was a big weekend for us with it being Ron's B-day and fathers' day all at once.  All Ron wanted to do for his birthday was hang out with his brother and drink some beer by the pool.  So, that's what he did.  Another year another beer as they say...  I personally didn't want to have any thing to do with their drunkin buffoonery so I just took myself off to my girlfriends bridal shower for the after noon.  I think it was a good idea cause when I came back they were telling each other how much they love each other,  hehehe. They had fun and so did I with my girlfriends.  We ate lots of food and drank champagne punch.  Girlie, I know.  I can't wait for the wedding.  They always make me cry!  Sniff, sniff. Crying 2

On Sunday I decided to ditch work for the day to go to the beach with my honey and all of the kids.  When we got there we stopped at Taco Bell for a quick snack.  It should have been a simple undertaking... When we pulled into the parking lot there was a huge line in the drive through.  We decided that we would walk up to the window to order and sit out on the patio while we ate.  Going good so far, right?  Well, after we ordered every one else went to sit down while I walked over to the car to grab a bottle of water out of the ice chest in our trunk.  It should have been that easy.  When I went to shut the trunk my cousin Michelle who is 16 and very blond came over to ask if she could have a soda out of the trunk cause it was her favorite kind.  Okay, I opened the trunk back up and told her close  it when she was done.  For some reason she couldn't get the soda for herself and needed my assistance. As I went to help her I realized that I needed both of my hands to help her so I set the keys down. Opps...

I was distracted by Ron telling me that he had our food when I walked away from the car.  We ate and started back to the car.  I asked Ron to hand me the keys so I could open the door.  He looked at me with  great fear.  It was then that I realized my fatal mistake.  When I told Ron that I thought the keys were in the trunk he pretty much freaked out.  Scared 1

Rachel to the rescue(even though I caused the situation.)  Ron couldn't believe what had happened. He sat there with a stunned look on his face while Michelle and I crawled into the back seat and figured out how to get into the trunk from the back seat.  Once we convinced Ron that we could get into the trunk from the back seat he get into gear and pulled the seat back out for me.  I crawled through a whole that I must say that I really didn't think I was gonna fit into<cool>  We had a box full of tools in the trunk so I whipped out a screw driver and popped the trunk open from inside.  They put a little spot where you can do that in there.  Maybe they were scared people are going to lock their keys in the trunks or something.

Any ways, we finally got to the beach and it was a beautiful day. Blue skies, no clouds, cool breeze. The kids were body surfing.  They were competing to see who could catch the most waves.  Noah was really digging the waves.  He wasn't even intimidated by them.  That's my little Tank for you, though.  He then rolled around in the sand like a lil' lizard.  Pretty funny. He was covered in sand! The girls dug a big hole and buried themselves along with Noah.  Michelle gave them each sand boobs, it was great.  Ron's brother Randy was with us and he was his usual amusing self, wrapping seaweed around his head and striking a really great pose.  I think he caught the most waves out of all of them. <see pics!>

We all went over to Randy's house which is pretty close to the beach we were at .  We watched movies and hung out for a little while. We had a great day until there was an argument about some old family gossip.  I don't know why it was even brought up.  Stupid stuff but that just killed the day. Thankfully it was already like 8 p.m. so we had a really good time for the best part of the day.  We went home in amazement that some people just don't know what they've said and done in the past.  It just sucks when you have freaky relatives with selective memories.

Have you ever heard of the term " breaking the cycle"?  Well, let's just say that it has been a real journey to learn who I am and what I want or don't want to be.  As for me and my family, we're dedicated to making sure that our own children do not inherit the dysfunctional parts of our family tree's DNA.  We still spend time with these people though and that is when it becomes hard to deal with having a family.  I think it's better to just let these things go.  It's better to just try to get along then not talk over petty arguments.  They're the only family we've got...

A 1st birthday party for Wynter

Little Wynter had her first birthday party over the weekend.  It was a great succsess.  The kids had an awesome time jumping in the bouncer.  It was hard to get them to come out of there.  Erin & James' family are all really cool people so we really enjoyed their company.  It's great to see our kids play and do things together that they'll remember for the rest of their lives.  Bayleigh thinks Rain is the bee's knees.  Rain thinks it's cool to have Some one look up to her because all of her girl cousins are older than her.  Wynter is too cute.  She had a great time opening her gifts.  Lots of ooo's and aahhh's from her and too many cute faces to describe.  It was a great day. Unfortunately we had to leave a little earlier than we would have liked in order to meet up with Ron's brother Randy so that he & his girl friend Jennifer could pick up Rain for the rest of the weekend.  We visited with them for a while before they decided to go home.  It was getting to be about 9 o'clock by then.  It had been a long day so we just went to bed since I had to be at the Painforest Cafe the next morning for work.

It's been an uneventful week so far.  School's out so the kids are all in my hair.  At least we have the pool to keep them busy.  Noah is up to his usual terrorizing.  When we went to his doctor's appointment last week Dr. Jain said that he is speaking like a three year old.  We wondered if his speach was more advanced than it would be at this stage.  He's such a smart boy.  Rain will be starting summer school next week.  Cousin's Michelle & Briana are also in summer school  this year.  Thank God for that or they would be driving me crazy all day every day!

Well, I'm off to work...click here for pictures:

    Memorial Day 2005

75 degree's today.  It was an unusally cool day here in the inland empire.  A perfect day for BBQ and swimming.  The girls were in the pool by 10 a.m.  I think they wished that they had waited for it to warm up, but these guys really know how to take full advantage of a holiday. They spent hours practicing thier "Flippin Fairy" dives.   Noah loved his snorkle gear.  Thought it was the coolest thing ever that he could see under the water.  He's going to be swimming any second now.  Ron got to play with fire.  It was great.
